Los Banos traces its roots to the UP College of Agriculture, which was founded in 1909 by the American colonial government to promote agricultural education and research in the Philippines. American botanist Edwin Copeland served as its first dean. The College of Agriculture was established at the foot of Mount Makiling. Legend has it that Maria Makiling’s love for a farmer was jilted when the farmer married a village girl.
Be it as it may, I wish to ask for your support for UP Los Banos to have an Echocardiogram Machine. I shall not be as disappointed as Maria Makiling if it is not to be but patients will be happy and perhaps we can save and prolong their lives if your support will come.
We will need PHP 1.8 million. With your support, we will slowly and surely achieve that goal.
